Hello, and welcome! I’m Kelly, I live in the heartland of the U.S. – Missouri. I’m passionate about enjoying the pleasures of homemaking and the simple life. These days, I delight in creating country cottage décor for our home, mastering the art of cooking and entertaining, growing lustrous flower, vegetable, and herb gardens, and planning regular, fun events to enjoy with my husband Mark, and our kiddos, Kate and Alec.

My style in all things is a unique twist of a beauty and elegance, that is also cozy and warm in its simplicity. I adore the mix of old shabby antiques with the fresh and new paint, quilts, furniture and books.

I collect dishes and linens for entertaining, shabby cottage décor items, and bright cheery fabric! I think I could literally open a library, at least a simple-life - homemaking one, as I find books on cooking, home care manuals, country wisdom, homemade items, and cottage décor manuals completely irresistible.
