'Tis the Season to be jolly and to make special Christmas memories! We'd like to hear about your favorite Christmas memories -- and maybe help to make a few more by sending you a special treat from our shop
perhaps there is a Fat Quarter Bundle you'd like
or maybe a Layer Cake or Jelly Roll,
or maybe some pretty patterns
or maybe some cute Charm Packs and a Schnibbles pattern?
So here's what you need to do -- visit our shop Cotton Charm Quilts, and make a list of items you'd like (please give us a few options -- quilt kit, fat quarter bundle, layer cake, jelly roll, pattern, etc).
Then, write a post on your blog about your favorite Christmas memories. Then post a comment here with your link! If you don't have a blog, you can post your comment here! And, don't forget to include your Wish List of Goodies!
Among a few other prizes we plan to give, one lucky quilter will win this "Stella Blue" quilt kit
I have one to match it -- so maybe we could Quilt Along on this together, because as I laid this out to take a photo and saw the pretty fabric, I really wanted to start making it.
The kit includes the pattern
and all of the fabric to make the quilt top and binding. The quilt is 78" x 78" finished, and all of the fabric is by Minick & Simpson from Moda!
If you'd be interested in this kit, and perhaps making this quilt with me -- be sure to add it to your Wish List!
My favorite Christmas memories are with the kids. On Christmas Eve, the kids laid out cookies and milk for Santa
and went to bed -- while Studly and I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning -- me stuffing the stockings and wrapping the presents, and Studly assembling toys!
In the morning, the we'd hear the kids in the living room, rustling through the packages.
Then, they'd run to our room saying "Get up, get up - Santa came, Santa came!!!"
And then I'd say -- "HE DID! What did he bring me??"
The kids would always say "Nothing!" And I'd say, "But I was SO good this year."
And, they were like --heh, too bad, "get up, get up so we can open our presents."
Then, they excitedly went through their stockings
and opened their presents
I MISS THOSE DAYS!
As they got older
(you know, into the teenage years), things changed!
It was me jumping on their beds saying -- "Get up, Get up -- Santa Came"!
Can't wait to read your favorite Christmas Memories! We'll announce our winners on Christmas Day!
TTFN,
Kelly
