I'm late, I'm late, I'm late--like the rabbit in Alice In Wonderland! It's the deciding on a favorite thing--and, we've already talked about that! But, even though I'm late, I've decided to try and get my post up and join the fun that Amy is hosting on her blog: Park City Girl. Amy is hosting a Blogger's Quilt Festival. Bloggers can post about their favorite quilts, and then link to them on Amy's site.
How fun is that?
After lots of thinking, I've chosen this as my favorite quilt:
I designed the quilt itself, and made it using Simplicity by 3 Sisters:
As I've said, I love all things miniature or small, and my favorite part on this quilt is the miniature star at the center of each border:
I also just love star blocks:
Since it's one of my favorites, it hangs here:
so I can see it every day.
I know I'm late. In fact, I'm crossing my fingers that the festival entries are still open by the time I get this post up. But, even if you don't get to post a quilt, go on over to Amy's Blog, and click on the links to all the wonderful blogs, and look at all the pretty quilts that have been posted. If I make it in time, I'll be Entry #591, so there are tons gorgeous quilts to ooh & aahh over, and tons of fun blogs to visit!
TTFN,
Kelly
P.S. I made it -- #592 (so that means there is someone else out there that is running almost as late as me)!
