So here's how this tag works:

So, I post 10 things about myself that my readers don't know about me -- but, are true.
Then, I must give the award or tag 10 other people, and let them know I've given it to them.
Finally, I link back to the person who tagged me (Cheryl's Blog)!
10 Things About Me
1. I was born 3 weeks late, and I've been running late ever since.
I was supposed to be a Thanksgiving baby, but waited until December 18 to make my debut (weighing in at nearly 10 pounds -- my poor mother).
2. I love to laugh and have fun.
3. I've always been a bit of a rebel. My first trip to the principal's office was in kindergarten for throwing my chair because I didn't want to take a nap--no doubt I had more "fun" things in mind.
I look too sweet to have done that -- but, it's true!
4. We often laugh now about the fact that I was grounded more in High School than I was free.
That was because I'd get grounded for getting a C or coming home late (my social life was top priority), and then break my grounding by going with my friends anyway--again -- my poor mother!
5. My favorite flowers are:
--totally worth the ants.
6. I love to cook -- so long as it's with Studly.
We've had a lot of laughs and good food experimenting in the kitchen together.
7. I get a little over-excited about all things in life (big and small). I'm a little like a 2 year old who fights sleep because he doesn't want to miss anything.
8. So, I often bite off more than I can chew in life. Exhibit A:
My "Prairie Sweets" quilt! I was very excited about it, and thought it would be a piece of cake to finish in a month. But, now, I'm just hoping to finish the quilt top:
This excitement with life -- the biting off more than I can chew, is a trait Studly finds both endearing and frustrating.
9. I'm having a blast with the quilt club -- seeing your projects, reading your answers to the tag--you guys are awesome, so thanks!
10. My mom hasn't grounded me in nearly 22 years -- so I'm going to say that I've mellowed a bit with age (alright that might not be completely true -- but partially true - I honestly have not been grounded in 22 years).
Okay, more fun. I get to tag 10 people--but, the "Fun-Loving Rebel" in me wants to read 10 things about all of you who might be reading here. So, I'm giving the award:

10 Quirky but True Things about Thelma
1. I drink coffee from a Christmas mug everyday of the year.
2. David Letterman's mom baked me an apple pie.
3. I've only lived in all the "I" states except Idaho
4. I was a majorette in high school (do they even have those anymore?)
5. My dog is named after Eli and Peyton Manning's brother.
6. I've watched the movie "You've Got Mail" over 50 times.
7. I have no UFOs.
8. I decorate 5 trees in our home for Christmas
9. My favorite color is red.
10. I don't have a blog...can't figure it out...
