Wow "Charming Girls"! Thanks so much for the awesome response to our new Quilt Club! I'm very excited about getting to know all of you a little better, and getting to work with you on moving our UFO's to FO status.
And, best of all, it's nice to be in good company with other quilters who have several UFO's, and need a little incentive! No -- I don't get to be in the drawing. But, it would be aweful embarrassing as the club host to not get my project finished (Yikes), so I've been "incentivized" too!

Wow! What an awesome array of projects to be completed this month! Can't wait to see all the finished items. This is so exciting. I have bookmarked all of the blogs and in between sewing my items, I hope to be able to visit each one at least once a week to cheer them on to the finish. Thanks, Kelly, for hosting this utterly fantabulous club!

There's a lot of neat stuff out there! I will have more time over the weekend to check out everyone's blog. I'm hoping to get my quilt top done by Tues. because I made an appointment with the lady in the next town over to have it quilted. Actually, I'll be quilting it on her machine while she watches over me...I'm getting in some practice. Yeah, Wed. is going to be another 'ME' day so I can learn how to use a long arm! HEHEHE!

Kelly,
I would love to join the club! I know that I'm too late for this month (rats!), but please add me for August. I have so many UFO's and this would be a great incentive to get going on them and have some fun at the same time!

I just received my quilt back from the quilters...I LOVE IT! I can't give this quilt away. I didn't realize how it would make me feel...this is my first sewn quilt. I can't wait to get the binding on... Anyhoo, now I know how all of you feel when you have your quilt quilted. I mean I did a small one (all by hand) for charity and I did get excited but nothing like this! Can't wait to get it done (at least I have til the end of the month).
Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL weekend!
