Yesterday, I took a couple of hours to:
to visit blogs of everyone who is working on projects for August! And, I just had too much fun. I so enjoyed reading your posts and looking at all of your pretty things that it made me long for more free time to sew and to play in blogland.
I told Studly that I should just close the store so I'd have more time to do just that.
He suggested another option (knowing that I do love my little quilt shop). He said I could start using the State-Of-The-Art, very technologically advanced new Time Management System he bought for me:
How sweet is he to buy me a PINK calendar?
Alright, ladies, it's the 14th of August, and I haven't built in any time in my schedule to sew.
Today, I will start work on my Tea Towel, and this weekend, I'll start on:
my son's quilt.
Thanks for the inspiration and fun, ladies!
TTFN,
Kelly

That pile of plaid reminded me of the kit that I bought to make for my son - luckily he is 8.5 months old - I have a while until he gets a "teen" quilt.

Calendars and agenda books work for me!Without them I am totally lost..Love your pink one! My tea towels are all done and have been sent to my Charming Girl friends, Erin and Cora. I will post the pictures on my blog once I know they have received their parcels.
Fun Fun Fun!

I love using a planner. I write everything down so I won't forget what I need to do. Well, I've mananged to sneak in some sewing here and there. Also, the pattern you are using for Alec gave me an idea for the Fresh Squeezed layer cake I have...never mind, let me focus on the things I'm working on now & I will share more later. Have fun sewing!

Oh thank you so much for getting me going on my quilt. I've had portions of it drapped over the portable crib for two years. Those babies never did mess with it. I decided to get it done this month. I've faithfully worked on it everyday. I'm doing my best to finish it. I'll e-mail send you a picture later.

Nice planner, Kelly, but um...it's the 14th girl! Ah, but I know you can finish. You're a whiz!

Once again Studly has managed to come up with a gift that is both practical and beautiful! (Have you used the picnic basket and your beautiful picnic quilt yet?) Way to go Studly! He is definitely a keeper, Kelly.
I was going to say, "Get sewing girl!" But I had better follow my own words and get to sewing too.........YIKES, the month is half gone.
