Hi again, all of you Charming Girls! Wow, I can't believe we're going on our 3rd month of the Club! This is so much fun -- and also so inspiring! Thanks Charming Girls!
Alright, this month, I'll be working on:
a mini version of our Quilt Along quilt to use as a sample. I haven't worked with my 30's fabrics for a while -- and this bright & cheery pile was calling my name!
And, I'll be working on quilting some old and new friends in my "Lonely Quilt Tops Club".
I hope to quilt and bind:
Sweet Sugar Swirls.
And, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone this month to do some free motion quilting. I've been using pantographs for so long -- I don't think I've done free motion for 3 or 4 years.
But this:
Wuthering Heights quilt, and my
Prairie Sweets need some special treatment on the quilting -- so you girls may have to cheer me on--'cuz I'm the least adept at free motion -- and am a bit nervous.
Okay, you all know the drill. Post pictures of your unfinished projects for September on your blogs, and comment here with the link to your post by September 7. If you don't have a blog, then you'll need to e-mail me pictures of your UFO's for September by the 7th.
I'll put this post under the Club logo to the right for easy access. Our monthly tag will be on the 15th!
Can't wait to see your projects.
TTFN,
Kelly

I posted about my September projects here:

Two baby quilts, one Schnibble pattern, some quilting on my August top and a few blocks from my October project should keep me busy.

I hope this will take you to the right post - I'm not really sure I understand how to do the linking properly. I finally figured out how to get the link back here on my sidebar but I couldn't get it in the body of my post - so I just linked the title of the post. Hope that's okay.

I am going on another retreat this month, but I'll be taking classes instead of finishing UFO's.
My computer has been giving me problems. I uploaded photos to my blog and lost them, so I don't have pictures to show you at this time. However, hopefully it will work, soon. I just hope I can be included in on the fun!
Here's what I hope to finish in September. I would like to finish a October "Button UP" from Joined at the Hip wallhanging, and a Happy Jacks Quilt that has little jack o lanterns on it. It's a lap quilt with lots of machine applique.
Good luck to the rest of you in finishing your projects for September! I'll keep working on my computer and will hopefully have pictures up the next day or so.
