Hi Girls. I hope all is well. I've gotten to visit a few (but not all) of you -- and there are some very pretty Half-Pint Quilts coming together! Can't wait for our Parade!
This week is a pretty easy week -- making the border blocks, which are just 1" finished Half Square Triangles.
Since this isn't too complex (and since I lost my camera battery charger, and had to use an old camera), I'll just do one set of instructions:
1. Gather your background and medium/dark 1 7/8" triangles
2. Place one medium/dark triangle on one background triangle, RST (right sides together). Using a scant 1/4" seam allowance (I move my needle over one titch) stitch along the longest side of the triangles
3. Press toward the dark.
4. Trim your nibblets
5. For the Mini Half-Pint, make 132 blocks, and for the Lap Half-Pint, make 232 blocks.
My apologies for the photos -- I'm off to get a new charger tomorrow (but, they are kind of "halloweeny", aren't they?)
I wish you all a Happy Halloween!
