Well, I do have a bit of organizing to do!
And, the fabric hasn't been moved in yet - but, the rest of the house is organized, and that makes me one happy camper!
We had a crazy, fun day today! This morning we ran to Target to get a gift certificate for a shower, drove to the farm to see Katiebug (and her new horse, Maisy), drove back home and picked up the trailer - and this cabinet
which I traded with my mom for the pie safe you see in the pix above by the bench! We drove to mom's, dropped off this old cabinet - picked up the even older one, then headed to Lowe's to buy lumber and paint for the new shelves Studly will be building in here!
Came home, moved all the furniture in, put up the laundry (yeah me - starting off on a good foot this week :) - and moved in all the other books and stuff!
By then, it was going on 7 and everyone was starving! So, I had to stop to whip up a 12 Minute Gourmet Meal for my guys!
Now Kelly, you're stretching it here, you say - calling frozen pizza a gourmet dinner!
But, truthfully girls - this is the best frozen pizza EVER!! And, when you add extra shredded cheddar cheese and fresh basil
well, it's good enough to call gourmet in my neighborhood!
Just finished cleaning up the kitchen, and it's after 8, so I'm thinking I'll start the organizing tomorrow!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
TTFN,
Kelly

Looks great! It will be such an asset!
Is the white file going in the closet.
I have a silver one like that in the closet and then a cabinet in the other 1/2 with
pegboard above it.

Love to see a plan come together - and the big reveal will be worth the wait. I know you will be at it bright and early - organizaing a sewing space is so rewarding and instant joy in my book. Love the moment. Judy C

Coming together nicely! I have to say I do the same thing to frozen pizza! I put fresh mushrooms or onions or whatever I have on hand that makes it not so much... well frozen!! And hello what is a pizza without extra cheese!! I always have that on hand ;D

Lookin' good Kelly girl!!! The pizza treat looks lerapin' too!!!
I had a great week-end! Went on my first 3 day quilt shophop bus trip. We went to Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri!! Had a blast but so happy to be back home!
Before I left I was so inspired by your remodel and painting that I started changing things in my sewing room as well. I had my husband sand and primer my sewing table. Then tomorrow I will paint it. I also painted a couple of my shelves. Now I have to finish organizing.
Thanks for the motivation!!!
Lots of hugs to you!

Looks wonderful, Kelley. Good trade, love the pie safe. Was just at a craft show looking at one, but I didn't bite yet. I also saw one in an Amish Furniture Store in OH, I like that one better. They have good quality oak furniture there, but I've been told they aren't actually made by the Amish. hmmmm! Can't wait to see the finished project.

Those two slices of pizza reminded me of the Yellow Cab we ate yesternight! :) The old cabinet looks cute, Kelly. Remember, to not forget to bring the important papers with you such as birth certificates, contact lists, closing papers, realtor info, mover estimates, new job contacts, current bills etc.
