I started working on the "Cherry Cheesecake" quilt by Lori Holt, and I'm having a ball!
I'm calling mine the "Lite" version because
in the end, I decided to go with lighter colored fabrics.
I love Lori's original version, and I'm hoping I'll like this one just as much.
It could also be called the "Kitchen Sink" quilt, because I think I've thrown every line in here but . . .
JK. But, I want to use up what is in my stash, so I dug and dug - and I think I've got a pretty good match! Fingers crossed because I'm "Mixing Fabric Lines Challenged!"
There are three Lecien lines ("Durham Collection" , "Durham Collection Anew", and "Princess Rose"), and several of my old Moda favorites (the first "Paris Flea Market", "Poetry", and "Aviary" ginghams), and even a newer Moda favorite – a gray print from "Ruby" (the McStudly's favorite color is gray :0)!!
I have to give a shout out to Lori of Bee In My Bonnet! Her instructions are so clear, she gives a lot of extra little details to help you along, and she even included her mom's Cherry Cheesecake Recipe in the pattern – which I intend to bake when I finish this quilt to celebrate – because it looks almost as scrumptious as her quilt!
Can't wait to get over to Bloglovin and see what you girls are stitching (missed my Thursday Bloglovin time for the 4th)
Have a great weekend girls!
