I love your fabric choices.

What a pretty block! Your fabric choices are fabulous! It takes a while to become comfortable with choosing fabrics. Once I realized that my opinion matters, if I liked the combination, it is the best good combination for me.

Super sweet Cheesecake Lite!!

When I was growing up in the dark ages, our refrigerator had a tiny freezer compartment that was actually within the refrigerator itself. It was like a little metal box. You couldn't fit much in it and we could never buy ice cream to keep at home. On Saturday nights, after we had our baths, my father would walk to the candy store/ice cream parlor and buy us ice cream cones. He would always buy me cherry vanilla. The colors of your quilt remind me of how the dark bing cherries would make the vanilla a little pink in spots. It always amazes me how fabric can trigger a memory. I know I am going to love this quilt.

Beautiful choice of fabrics, Kelly! They blend perfectly! The quilt will be a serene beauty!!

Hi! I think your fabric choices are wonderful and will be great with the pattern. I have seen her patterns done in several styles and they work - just different than what she uses. All her fabrics match her house. :-) Lori is my friend and she works hard on those instructions. I will tell her how much you liked them. We are going to lunch tomorrow.
