You all have been there-right? You're on vacation without the kiddos - and you see some really wonderful things! And, you think "oh, I so wish the kids were here to see this!" Well, kids I've been on a fun adventure here, and I can't tell ya how many times I've wished you and your dad could be here to see all of these amazing things!
So, this post is for you McStudly Jr.
You see, when my kids were little, they loved "Finding Nemo"! We've watched it so many times that I think we all have it memorized! Well, I've been on a bit of a "Dory" adventure here! The kids started teasing me and calling me Dory around this time! Don't know if it's because I'm forgetful like her or sweet like her - but, I'm going with sweet! Anyhoo, I've been on a bit of a Dory adventure here!
I've been "takin' on the jellies"!
These are the eggs that hatched (and these little turtles went to the sea)!
See, the mama turtle comes way up on the beach, digs a huge whole, and lays about 100 eggs - three to five times a year. Then, she buries them and leaves. And, after they hatch, they make their way almost to the surface, and wait until they feel the cool evening air. Then, they come up to the surface, and follow the moonlight into the sea!
I know - "totally radical" right?
This "Dory" can't wait to get home and see you little "Fabios", and give you a great big hug!
